Skinny Puppy - Use Less

At long last, another update.
I've deleted all past journals, as life is driving me towards the future and as far away from the past as my mind can handle. It's a ripple effect from the fire, I'm pretty sure. After everything disappeared in one single night, the past became something blurry, even more than it used to be. It may sound like I'm whining, but this is definitely for the best.

Funny how this is the moment I choose to post two old drawings that were missing from this site. Choking on ashes of ages past, parts one and two, were missing. These represent just perfectly what I'm working on changing from my life.

Changes will include moving. They will include a hardcore purge of the people surrounding me. It's already included many, many changes that most people won't even bother to think of in their entire lives.

I've taken measures to change everything. I've worked like I've never worked before. At this very moment I'm starting to really get back on top of things. I've bypassed the system that was trying to choke me.

NO, I'm not starting a blog. The point here is that I haven't been productive, as far as art is concerned. There is something to be worried about when your inspiration for creation is pain, fear, hate and confusion but you're too damaged to even be able to use what's going on to create anything.

Another thing that may explain this is that there is a person in my life who has been of more help than I thought possible. This person's strength and wisdom has been, and is, most precious. Her help, support and presence has given me a certain peace of mind that I've never had before.

So what now?
I'm focusing on my work as a graphic designer.
I'm opening old folders, material as well as digital, and getting back on old projects that need closure.
I'm starting new projects.
